TORONTO, ON. – Don’t miss the opportunity to enroll in the “School of the 3Ps” on Monday, Sept. 26. The mobile, one-room schoolhouse will be at Queen’s Park at 11:00 a.m. for its official launch before heading out on its province-wide tour.

The mobile, red brick schoolhouse is presented by CUPE Ontario and features displays with capsulated information about the various forms of privatization.

P3s (public-private partnerships) are a form of privatization that creates large profits for corporations at public expense,” said Sid Ryan, Ontario President of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE). “It’s crucial for people to recognize that these government-supported ventures are an attack on vital services that are important to the people of this province.”

The mobile unit will begin its two-year tour of Ontario in October.

To enroll in the 2005 founding class, please call our office at (416) 299-9739.

Photo opportunity: 38 foot, one-room schoolhouse.
