Be strategic: Vote NDP
Jan 20, 2006 11:33 AM If the polls are right. and that's not always a sure thing, the Conservative party will form a minority -- perhaps even a majority -- government following Monday's election. This prospect underscores the need for progressive voters to elect as many New Democratic Party MPs as possible, Paul Moist writes in today's National Post (January 20)

The NDP can keep the child care dream alive
Jan 18, 2006 09:34 AM A Conservative majority government would trash the emerging national child care program. But by voting NDP, we can keep the Conservatives from destroying it outright by forcing them into a minority government position.

New Democrats, not Conservatives, are the real friends of working people
Jan 16, 2006 12:56 PM Stephen Harper’s Conservatives are trying to pass themselves off as friends of working people, but their agenda promises bad news for working women and men. And on every substantial point for working people, NDP policies come out much further ahead. The best way to defeat a Conservative majority is to vote for the NDP.

But his true intentions, as revealed in his party’s just-released policy platform, are to dismantle the caring society built by working Canadians with help from the party that protects their best interests, the NDP.

The Conservatives: Standing up for a meaner Canada
Jan 6, 2006 12:13 PM Some voters looking for a change from the governing Liberals may be tempted to vote Conservative. Jan 5, 2006 10:58 AM
