PRINCE GEORGE CUPE BC will lend its support to those city councillors who are fighting to stop the sale of BC Rail at a rally on Nov. 3, 2003.

Under the slogan It’s our railway. If we lose it, we lose it forever, CUPE BC president Barry ONeill will address the rally.

CUPE BCs provincial Strong Communities campaign is dedicated to helping communities to fight against Liberal attacks on public services, ONeill says. The privatizing of BC Rail threatens hundreds of jobs and will undermine the economy of communities up and down the line.
