OSHAWA 170 striking workers with the Durham Catholic District School Board reached a tentative agreement on Sunday. The custodial and maintenance staff, represented by CUPE Local 218, have been on strike for two weeks.
A ratification vote has been scheduled for Monday evening.
CUPE represents 180,000 working women and men in Ontario, many of whom work for school boards, universities, hospitals and municipalities.
