A new report on privatization released by CUPE has generated news across Canada. Innovation Exposed documents 90 major privatization initiatives taking place across the country since the signing of the 2003 First Ministers Accord on Health Care Renewal.

Privatization is not just creeping - its flooding our public system, CUPE National President Paul Moist said. Here, at last, is a listing of privatization schemes province by province so Canadians can judge for themselves whether their premiers and territorial leaders are protecting public health care.

The release of the report was timed to coincide with the health care meeting in Niagara-on-the-Lake and to put to rest the Liberal myth that Conservatives are the enemies of public health care Liberals are just as guilty.
