CUPE national’s web site has won the Canadian Association of Labour Media’s award for best staff-produced web site. The competition had more than 60 entrants and was judged by veteran union communicator Art Kilgour.

The competition takes place every year and awards are announced at the association’s annual conference.

CUPE national also won awards for best illustration for its workload campaign material, best “moving billboard” for its “Up with Women’s Wages” balloons, and communications staffer Karin Jordan won the Ed Finn award for best feature for her article Schools in but fewer staff carry load from Organize magazine.
