Regina: Judy Darcy, National President of the Canadian Union of Public Employees, will address the Western Municipal Employees Conference on Thursday in Regina. Darcy will address the conference at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow in the Umbria Room at the Delta Hotel.
The CUPE National President will address the growing threat of privatization and highlight findings from the unions recently released Annual Report on Privatization.
Regina Mayor Pat Fiacco will also bring greetings to the conference at 9:15 a.m. tomorrow.
Over 100 delegates representing CUPE locals from the four western provinces will attend the three-day conference.
