OTTAWA, ON.Paul Moist, National President of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), will join workers in Hamilton, Ont., for Labour Day 2005.

Moist will walk the Labour Day Parade with members from various CUPE locals in Hamilton, bringing solidarity from Canada’s largest union and its 540,000 members across the country.

At the end of the parade, Moist will be speaking in his capacity of vice-president of the Canadian Labour Congress. Speeches commence at 12:30 PM at Dundurn Park.
