NORTH BAY, Ont. – The local union executive of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), representing municipal workers in Bonfield, has endorsed Narry McCarthy for mayor in the November 13th municipal election.

Our local and members want to remind residents and voters to think of the public services we offer, when they vote, and support candidates who support public services,” said Henri Giroux, president of the North Bay CUPE District Council.

With more than half a million members across Canada, CUPE represents workers in health care, education, municipalities, libraries, universities, social services, public utilities, transportation, emergency services and airlines.
