This week, CUPE is participating in an effort led by the Canadian Health Coalition to discuss the renewal of the Health Accord with Members of Parliament. Members of CUPE’s National Health Care Issues Committee and National Political Action Committee will join other groups and unions to show our support for a renewed Health Accord in 2014 that will strengthen – not weaken – our public health care system.

Not only will this be an opportunity to discuss important issues with MPs, but it will also be a chance to gain valuable experience meeting with MPs and lobbying for change. Training sessions will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, with Thursday focused on meetings with elected officials.

You can help by contacting your Member of Parliament through our email campaign.
