CUPE Nova Scotia is inviting Executive members of all CUPE locals in the New Glasgow area to a meeting tomorrow evening to find out more about CUPE’s ‘My Wages Equal Your Profits’ campaign.

The meeting is being held at the Museum of Industry at 7:00 pm (October 18) and is an opportunity to find out how area locals can help spread the word about the important role that public employees’ wages and pension income play in our local economies.

The ‘My Wages Equal Your Profits’ campaign was recently launched by CUPE with province-wide radio and newspaper advertisements, and is enlisting the support of the union’s 18,000 members and their families who live and shop from one corner of the province to the other.

CUPE Nova Scotia President Danny Cavanagh has also been meeting with the Chambers of Commerce and Regional Development Authorities across the province.
