HALIFAX – CUPE Local 227 has reached a tentative agreement with the Halifax Regional Water Commission (HRWC).
CUPE National Representative Marianne Welsh says, “No details will be released until the details have been presented to union members at a ratification vote. The Bargaining Committee is recommending acceptance of the new deal.”
Welsh says the date of that meeting should be determined within the next few days.
