(Sydney) – More CUPE hospital workers are holding meetings across Nova Scotia to provide updates on contract talks.

Workers in Cape Breton met over the weekend, and now their counterparts in New Glasgow, Antigonish, Amherst and Truro are doing the same.

  • New Glasgow – October 16 at 7:00 pm at the Aberdeen Hospital
  • Antigonish - October 16 at 4:00 pm at St. James United Church Hall
  • Amherst - October 19 at 7:30 pm at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center
  • Truro – October 19 at 4:30 pm at the Colchester Regional Hospital

More than 3,600 CUPE hospital workers in 33 hospitals across the province, as well as 2,000 CAW hospital workers, could be on strike by the first week in November.
