Three CUPE members are attending a global conference on gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered workers in Copenhagen, Denmark this week, and you can follow along on their blog.

The Workers Out conference is organized to coincide with the World Out Games.

The CUPE delegation’s blog post from the first day of the conference describes the inspirational moment of meeting Axel Axgil, the first man to marry a partner of the same sex. “At 95, Mr Axgil is still spry and still taking on causes. The eloquence of his speech enamored the audience,” they write.
