Mark Ferguson, President of the Toronto Civic Employees Union, Local 416 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE 416), will hold a media availability today, August 7, at 2:30 p.m. in the CUPE 416 offices located at 110 Laird Drive. 

Ferguson will discuss the expected impacts of today’s handover of solid waste collection west of Yonge Street to a private contractor, and deliver the union’s response to recent comments by public officials regarding this situation.
