SYDNEY, NS – Employees of Braemore Home will be holding an information picket on Thursday, March 10, 2011. Members of CUPE Local 3513 will be handing out leaflets to the public concerning their current labour dispute with the facility.
The 120 members of Local 3513 are facing a possible strike. The union is urging the employer to get back to the bargaining table and negotiate a settlement in the dispute.

The pickets will take place from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. outside the workplace, which is located at 1300 Highway 4. CUPE Nova Scotia President Danny Cavanagh will be in attendance at the afternoon picket.
