VANCOUVER - Join CUPE picketers dressed in formal attire at a performance outside the Orpheum Saturday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Picketline-renown CUPE 15 diva Karen Hynes will perform pieces composed by the artist and her ensemble from their newly-released CD titled “Ode to end the strike”. Only 20 copies of the limited edition CD will be available for purchase by donation. Vancouver Symphony concertgoers are being encouraged to respect CUPE15’s picket line and enjoy the performance on the line.Date: Saturday, September 29, 2007
