CUPE research staff, working with the Managing Director of National Services and Bridgetech have been working hard to develop a new computer system for compiling and analysing collective agreement information. The new system is called the Collective Agreement Information System. We are enthusiastic about the project because it will provide more detailed and up-to-date information than the current system and staff and Locals across the country will have access to the database. The new system will streamline the data input so that it will be much easier to keep the information current. All in all, the system will allow us to do better analysis of collective agreements and share the information more readily across the country.
