The countdown is on for the Canadian Labour Congress’ triennial convention, May 5 – 9 in Montreal. CLC conventions are a wonderful time for union members from across Canada to share successes and find new ways to strengthen the labour movement.

27th Constitutional Convention of the Canadian Labour Congress

Monday, May 5 to Friday, May 9

CUPE is urging all locals to send representatives and participate in this important convention. Delegates will be discussing how we can build on the Fairness Project and move forward on the labour movement’s commitment to reaching out and reconnecting with union members.

The deadline to register is quickly approaching. Locals sending delegates must submit credentials by April 4.

All CUPE delegates are invited to join National President Paul Moist and National Secretary-Treasurer Charles Fleury for a pre-convention caucus;
