A candle light vigil will be held this Thursday in memory of the crew and passengers lost in the crash of First Air flight 6560 this past weekend in Resolute, Nunavut.

CUPE represents First Air flight attendants, and lost two sisters in the crash. Another member of the crew is survived by his wife, a CUPE member.

The vigil will be held at 8 p.m. on August 25, 2011 at the Canadian Labour Congress workers monument in Vincent Massey Park, Riverside Drive, Ottawa (follow the signs from the parking lot on Riverside Drive to the monument).

Candles will be provided.
