Nobel Peace Prize winner Rigoberta Menchu, also a Guatemalan presidential candidate, got kicked out of a fancy beach resort in Cancun, Mexico, recently when hotel management mistook her for a street vendor.

The indigenous rights activist had come to the resort at the invitation of Mexican president Filipe Calderon and was dressed in the Central American attired worn by indigenous peoples.
