Calgary inside workers will put the citys latest offer to a vote on Monday. Meanwhile, CUPE 38 has filed a second strike notice putting it in a legal strike position as of 8 a.m. on Tuesday.

City negotiators are stuck on their last offer of 3, 3.5 and 3.5 per cent, said local president Peter Marsden. We spent 12 hours at the table Thursday with the only movement from the city being minor adjustments and the removal of some concessions.

The negotiating committee is not recommending acceptance or rejection of the offer. But members are aware that it does not provide the inflation-fighting money that they had wanted.
