(Sydney) – Contract talks between cafeteria workers at Cape Breton University and the Compass Group are heading to conciliation.

CUPE National Representative Kathy MacLeod says, “Outstanding issues for the 30 members of Local 4428 include wages and benefits.”

CUPE represents cooks, sandwich makers, cashiers, bakers, porters and others. Wages range from $10.00 to $12.60.
