About 200 supporters of CUPE 2096, on strike against Brandon Clinic since Feb. 10, swelled the local’s picket lines Mar. 6.

CUPE members from other Brandon area locals, COPE, UFCW and USW members came out to walk with the support staff of the Brandon Clinic. Also on the picket line were CUPE staff from the regional office.

President Paul Moist was also there, encouraging the members to stand up for their rights. He brought news that CUPE members attending the School Division Conference in Regina had raised money for the striking members.

Also addressing the members was CUPE Manitoba President Kevin Rebeck.
