(Amherst) - Employees of Autumn House will hold information pickets at four different locations over the next 10 days.

The womens shelter workers are facing a possible strike and their Board of Directors has refused to pass on pay increases approved by the provincial government.

The info pickets will take place as follows:

  • Saturday, July 26 at Cumberland North Conservative campaign headquarters from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (South Albion St.)
  • Monday, July 28 at the Department of Community and Social Services office from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm (26-28 Prince Arthur Street)
  • Tuesday, July 29 at Amherst Regional High School, All-Candidates debate from 6:15 pm to 9:00 pm (Willow Street)
  • Friday, August 1 at Cumberland North Conservative campaign headquarters from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm (South Albion St.)
