CUPE Flight Attendants to hold rally on Parliament Hill

Oct 20, 2011 10:04 AM

OTTAWA – CUPE flight attendants will be holding a rally on Parliament Hill to draw attention to this Harper government’s interference in CUPE flight attendants free and open collective bargaining with their employer.

This government has taken unprecedented and indefensible action to undermine the rights Air Canada flight attendants. They have done this by threatening back to work legislation while both parties were still in negotiations and then suspending flight attendants right to strike through the minister’s reference to the Canada Industrial Relations Board
