Emergency dispatchers will meet E-Comm board members as they attend their regular meeting this Friday.

The more than 200 dispatchers want the mayors and councillors who sit on the E-Comm board to address public safety concerns and work with CUPE Local 873 to end the dispute.

The strike began Sept. 17, 2000. Issues include wage parity, sick leave, under-staffing, training and technological change.

Rally date: Friday, April 20, 2001
Time: 9 a.m. 10 a.m.
Place: E-Comm is at 3301 East Pender St., Vancouver.
