This time, we have a real chance to make Parliament work. More New Democratic Party MPs means a balanced Parliament - one that works for people. It means more say in our real priorities, like health care, housing, curbing poverty, the environment.
A Parliament that works means quality public services and strong communities. Reliable, accessible, quality public services provide good value for money, employ a stable work force and ensure that when things go wrong, you can hold someone to account.
Strong communities. Public services. Public accountability.

As we enter the election's final stretch, tax cuts have emerged as a major issue in the campaign. We think that's wrong. We believe it is an attempt to bribe Canadians with their own money, and distract voters from what REALLY matters to working families: like investing in improved health care, education, affordable housing, and protection for children and seniors. And keeping Canada's promises to the world on vital issues like climate change and fighting poverty.
If you agree that these priorities are more important than tax giveaways, please take a moment to sign our Call to Action now.

The idea of “strategic voting” has come up during the election campaign, the notion being that the best way to stave off the Conservatives is to vote for the Liberals.
Really, the best way to make sure we have a Parliament that works for working people is to make sure we have as many NDP MPs as possible. And the way to do that is to vote for what you really want by voting positive.
